The Student Academic System is an information system designed to meet the needs of both students and teachers/lecturers. The main difference between SIAKAD and SAKTI lies in their target users: SIAKAD is intended for administrative purposes, while SAKTI is designed for public users.

The separation was made to reduce development complexity and to make it easier to implement security features without compromising user convenience. SAKTI was released at the same time as SIAKAD and has been in service ever since without any major issues.

Both applications have successfully transformed the way the university operates. They enable a 100% paperless process, while still allowing printed documents when needed—usually upon external request. They have reduced queues for administrative services, enabled fully online class registration from anywhere at any time, and improved the efficiency of calculations, allowing rules to be applied more effectively.
