Years of experience in successfully building academic systems for universities opened the opportunity to collaborate with a school to develop a school-specific version of the academic system. This came with new challenges, as the way principals run schools in Indonesia differs significantly from how universities operate.
At the university level, a student is treated as an individual entity, and everything related to the student is personalized. Students are also responsible for handling most administrative tasks themselves. In contrast, schools operate in a more group-oriented manner. Student groups typically consist of 20 to 40 students who share the same classroom, subjects, enrollment, and teachers. Additionally, most administrative tasks are handled by teachers or school staff on behalf of the students.
Therefore, the application must support both bulk processing for groups and individual processing for specific cases, such as extracurricular activities.
