I have managed a private GitLab server for over eight years to provide the development team (including myself) with a reliable source control and continuous integration environment. I established standards for the development process to help prevent issues before they occur. As container technologies like Docker gained popularity over the years, I adopted them to make applications more robust against environmental changes and to improve the efficiency of deployment workflows.
